Our performance blocks are designed to handle everything from daily-driving reliability builds to high-horsepower competition applications.A key advantage of our 6.4 blocks are the precision-machined locating sleeves at main bolt locations. Acting as structural shear locators, these sleeves positively register the bedplate to the block and absorb the shear loads created during engine operation. By transferring lateral shear loads through the pinned locating sleeves, the LMI main studs are free to concentrate on delivering maximum clamping force. This results in superior main bore stability and an overall stronger bottom-end foundationEvery block is precision-machined with our bedplate modification, line-bored, & paired with a new crank.
